Playstation 3 or Playstation vita ?

Which should I get a playstation 3 or playstation vita (ngp)? I have a huawei ascend so I should be able to get playstation suite when it comes out.I like that the psv is portable and like a mini ps3 but I dont wanna carry both psv and my android phone.The ps3 is cool for home but I got a wii which I dont like and I'm just afraid there going to announce a ps4 and then it comes out the year after cause that always happens to me.And I probably not going to get one until the end of the year or beginning of 2012.
