So yesterday my best friend asked me to come to the beach with her friends and so I did. It was fun but my best friend was just bein mean to me. I would say something and she would tell me to shutup or no one cares and no one asked me. And then we were sitting down eating and we were all done and then I said let's go lay down and tan! And she said shutup. But then a couple minutes later her bestfriend said let's go tan! And my bestfriend got up with her bestfriend and layed down and tanned! And then the most popular girl in the whole town came and sat with us and she started asking us what we hate. My bestfriend replied with I hate when zoey is here (that's my name) she was being so mean. Then a couple weeks ago he introduced me to one of her friends who is a boy and we started talking and texting. I was texting him yesterday at the beach and he said he was there so then I toldmy bestfriend that gingie is here and that's the nick name I gave him because he is redheaded my bestfriendflipped out and said I don't even know him and I shouldn't give Jim nick names I don't ever say anything back to her when she say all this stuff. Then we were watching suffers and I pointed out that one of them was cute and my bestfriend said shutup you don't even know him I replied I never said I did and she was like k with attitude. Then her mom wanted her to come home and so did my mom and my bestfriend made a whole thing up how my mom doesn't want me here alone and that since she was my ride home she had to leave to but that wasn't it her mom didn't want her alone and my mom was fine with it. But when were alone it's never like this and we have a great time. Nintendo 3DS or PS Vita?

Well most systems are trying to switch their games over to download only like the psp go so who knows if a vita will even have a umd drive. There are so many used game stores in Japan now that the companies lose half their sales to people buying used games. The good news is hopefully games get cheaper. I have both a psp and a DS and I will say it is a close call. I get loads of enjoyment out of both of them. But the game selection for both hasent been all that great either. If your a casual gamer that just likes having fun. get a 3DS. If your hardccore and want meatier longer games, go with Vita. Also half of the psp games didn't see releases outside of Japan, if you cared.

Definitely the PS Vita, it is a remarkable piece of technology and not nearly comparable to the PSP in graphics performance. Its fantastic! PSP Slim is nice, but is not worth it when the PS Vita is coming out. The PS Vita 3G in the Indian Rupee is 19,359.16. The Wi-Fi only version is 16,131.24. Just wait for the PS Vita which will be coming out in either late 2011, or very early 2012. I would think that the PSP Slim would be about 9,678.41 INR to about 12,904.54 INR at the very max. If what you say is true then they should be teaching calculus in Jr. High instead of advanced arithmetic to seniors. So don't blame the books, blame the liberals who need to teach to the whole class at the pace of the lowest common denominator. No student in high scroool is allowed to flunk. Family problems... that I have tried fixing, believe me, what do I do?

My mother is needy, lonely, and emotionally abusive. I think she has some sort of mental problem from getting emotionally abused most of her life (by her own mother) and from getting physically abused by two of her lovers. One of them was my father (they are divorced now and have been for about 8 years, but they were together for about 15 years) and the other one banged her head against a door jam and it may have done damage to her brain, the reason why he did this was because she told him that she thought he was cheating on her. It was quite obvious that he was though, because he dropped hints all the time and even I noticed it. The men that were physically abusive are long gone out of her life now though. The problem right now is, she is still talking to her emotionally abusive family. She almost has to because we are running out of money and she owes a lot to credit cards, and she's also trying to get her taxes done for my big sister's college tuition money so she can complete college and become a Biology teacher. The reason why she has to keep in touch with this abusive family is because her mother is dying from cancer, and she has put my mother on a trust. She is also giving most of the money to my mother's brothers, who are well on their feet and do not need the money like we do. My mother also can't get a job easily because she is older (54 years old) and we live in the country in the middle of nowhere and can't afford to drive far away to work. She is trying out this internet business thing, and she also just recently patented two inventions that may become very popular. The thing is, I will be going off to college in 2 years. I used to want to go to college in North Carolina or South Carolina. She wanted to come with me. But now I have made my final decision and want to go college in Masssachusetts. I have told her where I want to go and now she wants to follow me there too. But I don't want her to follow me, I want space. Because from getting abused most of her life, she is also abusive. And she also has a pretty bad Bipolar disorder, which she denies having and refuses to see a therapist or go on medication to help it. But she has been emotionally abusing me ever since my sister moved out to go to college. But when my sister was living here, it was her that she was emotionally abusing and buttering me up. But now it's the opposite. She favors my sister and acts like she misses her so much and acts like I'm a piece of ****. She has called me a ***** much more than I can count. I have done nothing wrong to her, and neither one of me or my sister deserves this. But she wants to live with both of us, and neither of us want that. Another thing is, she has said that she feels crazy. She says a lot of times she doesn't want to do anything at all, and sometimes she says she feels like killing people (literally). How should I train for cross country season?

I am a 16 yr old female running JV cross country. I am entering junior year of hs, and running about 20 miles a week so far this summer. I have run about a 30 min 5k. I was supposed to take off a couple minutes last year, but suffered a quad strain. Now healed, I have been running for about 3 weeks, just trying to build up a base again. The season starts in the fall, racing 5k. How should I train to gain speed without risking injury? More mileage? Two a days? Cross training? My runs average 3 miles, once a day, 5 or 6 days a week. I have a gym membership and pool. Also, what is a realistic goal time by the end of season(November)? Hope you can help a fellow runner! All answers appreciated:)

Just lately i have been getting REALLY bad stomach cramps. I have been coughing up phlegm, to the point its actually choked me a few times. I suffer from chronic pain and the doctors have very little answers as to why..?

So I have decided upon doing some of my own research to attempt to change my diet and take the nutritional approach. I do not want to be dependent on drugs that treat my symptoms I want this pain to stop. One obvious solution is to loose weight. I am 5'5 and I weigh 195 lbs. and I am female. The pain is in my left leg and generates from my knee, down my calf, and over the top of my foot. I have had MRI's, nerve conductivity tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, and physical therapy. Problem is that because of my pain it has the created me to take to not being as physically active as I once was. I hurt to stand, I hurt to sit, I hurt to lay down, I hurt to do just about any damn thing. I have very few moments that are actually pain free. I have suffered from depression due to all this pain. I cannot describe other then I just freaking hurt all the time. Even squatting down so I can use the toilet hurts! So anyone with any advice on what activities or items to remove from my diet that I may be able to do that could by chance encourage my weight loss and pain free desires?

Unhappiness can stay with you for a long time but goes away by itself. I have depression but I was never diagnosed with it. I think it's natural to feel depressed because of what somebody might have done to you to cause this and anything done to you in the past that makes you feel this way. A lack of interest and being ignored can cause depression. So it's right to say you have depression when not diagnosed with it because it's a natural feeling just like other emotions. That's like saying to express your emotions that you'd have to be diagnosed with it which is rubbish talk so whoever said this to you do not know what they are saying.

Eye muscle surgery as child, migraines as an adult?

When I was about 5 years old I had surgery to fix the weak muscles in one of my eyes. Maybe 10 years later, I started suffering from migraines that have only gotten worse as I've aged. Now almost 30, it isn't odd for me to get a daily migraine. I've seen several neurologists. Gone the chemical prescription route. Gone the herbal route. Tried a chiropractor, acupuncture... Made diet changes. All of that with no real result. Is it possible that surgery as a child could be the culprit? What kind of doctor do I go to get this possibility checked out? Side note- I also can't see 3D, which I believe is a byproduct of the surgery. Thank you!

Hello I've had a stressful week at work. I've noticed when I'm feeling stressed i get a sore tongue. Its very pink and sore at the tip to near the middle.I then get a white thin layer from the sore pink bit to all the way to the back.I told the Dr she told me i could me anemic,i couldn't show her as it cleared up. For years now, I have been suffering nerve pains (I am 25 years old). It feels like a shooting electrical current running through my nerves constantly. Some days I just have the pain running from my fingers to my elbows or my toes to my ankle and others the pain will be all over my body even my face and ears. It is very painful. In addition to what everyone else has said about how much those cards can hold you also must remember that they won't be the same size games in the ps3 as the vita. The PS3 offers 1080p 1920x1080 Resolution graphics, surround sound, and a bunch of other crap. PSVita will have less pixels (smaller screen) saving a considerable amount of space, as well as only stereo sound (no big surround sound files) In addition to this, compression of the game will also play a huge factor, since you can compress games to be only a couple GB's.

Yesterday, I kinda cut myself. I've been trying really hard to quit but last night he made me really upset (even longer story) and so I scratched some words into my skin with an embroidery needle. I didn't break the skin, it didn't bleed, and it was gone by the time I went to bed. I told him, but he was really tired. I mentioned it again today, but he forgot I told him. I called him later and he said he was really upset with me and he didn't want to talk. To my relief he told me he loved me when we got off the phone, but I'm still scared... Also, the whole ordeal has made me feel REALLY suicidal (I do suffer from depression, no medication) and I'm not sure if I can stand being away from him any longer but he turned his phone off and I'm currently not allowed to leave the house. There may be a mother's support group also that you could join which your daycare or school may be able to recommend. Your children are only 3-5... the things you worry about when they get older are even bigger than concrete. Try and seek help now while they are young so you and your family can have happy holidays! If you took the pill within about a 2 hour time frame you should be ok. Stomach problems would really only affect if it you took your pill and then threw up within about 2 hours of taking it. Or if you had diarrhea and couldn't keep any thing down. One day isn't really much to worry about.

Need Help! Stomach Problem!?

I'm turning to strangers for advice because I can't find help anywhere else. I'm scared and I'm positive something is wrong. It all started in December when I came home from work, ate dinner (tuna fish to be exact) and minutes later I suffered severe nausea. I thought it was just the flu or food poisoning. A few days later I developed what I thought was acid reflux and I went to my doctor. He said it was just a stomach bug and I'd be better in a few days. He put me on prilosec. A few days later I went back to him and I still didn't feel better. Eventually, he referred me to a specialist in my area. After seeing the specialist, he drew blood and sent me for a scan of my colon/intestine. He determined that it could be H. pylori, the bacteria in your stomach that causes ulcers. So, he put me on three courses of antibiotics. I was on 2,000 mgs a day! Apparently that's the only way to kill that. I ended up in the hospital because the antibiotics were so strong. I fought through it, finished the meds, and I still didn't feel better! So I went back to the specialist and he said it must be just a virus that kinda "shocked" my stomach's nervous system and I'd be better in a few months. Between these visits, I was in the ER a dozen times. I also had a barium swallow done (where you swallow that chalky mixture and they take xrays of it going through your intestines) I've had numerous blood tests to rule out possible celiacs, lactose intolerance etc. Everything came back normal. So, eventually I was referred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, one of the best. They took me in right away and the Dartmouth doctor said something along the same lines as the other specialist. He said that a virus or a bacteria or toxin damaged my Enteric Nervous System (the part of your brain that controls your digestive tract) and that there sounds like slight stomach emptying problems which is causing acid reflux. He said I'd be better in a few months. That was 5 months ago. Recently I've also seen a throat specialist who diagnosed me with LPR, a form of acid reflux that damages your voice box. And I have to mention that I've been on prilosec from december to may and now Dexilant for two months as prescribed by the throat specialist. Yesterday I had bad diarreah and today I feel so heavy in my stomach, like it's not digesting anything. It's horrible. So to recap: I've had: A barium Swallow exam, small bowel follow up exam and xrays, scan and xrays of my colon, xrays of my stomach, intestines, an ultrasound, numerous blood tests, and have seen 12 doctors. They ruled out chrone's disease, celiacs, tumors, ulcers, etc. What could have happened to me back in december that was like a light switch and ruined my life??? I just want to get to the end of this. Please, if anyone has been through anything similar please help me. I've seen 7 ER doctors, two MDs, three gastroenterologists and a throat specialist. I just don't get it. Dartmouth said that he wasn't going to give me an endoscopy based on my age (26, male) and medical history and they are one of the best hospitals around. Also, I'm always constipated, always have an acid reflux feeling, always burping (not normal burps, though) and always always a full feeling in my stomach. I'm hoping someone out there has had similar expereinces cause damn, I feel scared and alone and feel like no one will listen. I haven't had a direct anxiety disorder, but separation anxiety. I Never took medication and got over it. But, I had a friend who had anxiety disorder, he took propranolol and it did help, but i also suggest yoga, and sports, don't worry about anything. Give the medicine a try but if it doesn't work out for you, you can easily come off of it. Anxiety can be bothering to you and your friends and family. If you want to start propranolol, start with 20mg. Hope it helps

Look, if everything you're saying is true, you've got some major issues. I realize you would like for there to be some quick-fix answer but it sounds like you've got some big things to deal with. The short answer is "quit worrying, they'll likely be fine". The long answer is you may need therapy, medication, a drastic change in diet, religion etc...there are plenty of people whose parents have dangerous occupations and/or are depressed but they are not obsessesed in the way that you are, so you need to figure out why YOU feel this way in order to stop. It's also possible that your fear could have nothing to do with fear (i.e. if you were ever raped, molested, beaten etc. excess fear could be your subconcious way of hiding from what the real issue is). Lastly, although I'm not religious I do believe in God, and I believe that when you pray hard amazing things can happen. Pray for happiness or contentness or a solution to your bad situation etc and REALLY BELIEVE that help can come your way and you may be amazed at the results you get. Whatever you end up doing, I wish you well and I hope you get to a better place.

Why are the stats for men in women in Russia different than everywhere else?

First of all, I realize that Eastern European countries are also similar, but I want to focus on Russia because it is the biggest and most populated country in the area. I notice that females live ~10 years longer than men. I know women typically have longer life spans worldwide, but why is it so exaggerated in Russia? And does this also affect the sex-ratio (Russia has a lot more females than males)? Also, are there any any other differences with respect to gender in education, work force, politics, military, etc? Eye Turn Surgery is it safe?

My boy of 2 has severe eye turn in right eye have been told that only surgery will correct the turn its at a scale of 50 he will live with this until he is at least 40 ish unless we have surgery which will hopefully straighten he is slightly long sighted with prescription of +1.25 which orthoptic clinic say its not enough to warrant a 2 year old wearing glasses his right eye when tested is not as sharp as left eye as the pictures they showed him far away that were tiny he only got correct on second time of asking but she is not concerned his sight is suffering too much she also says the eye turn surgery is purely cosmetic and he still may need patching to help that right eye get stronger in near future but for now they keeping close eye and seeing regularly i dont want my boy getting picked on throughout his school years like my best friend did but how succesful are these ops has anyone had to go back have it done more times obviously is a slight chance it will go back but can have op done again i am just so scared and confused by it all she said no amount of glasses or patching will make that turn go it may make it less noticeable but not gone like surgery would is this scale of 50 the worst case then? any professional opticians out there or surgeons ???
